Friday (Day to Night Inspiration Look)

Hi Everyone,

The weekend is coming soon and I recall promising to write about an inspirational look for Friday that is professional for work and can transition to a night out :)

Jun Ji Hyun (You Who Came From The Star) looks stunning in this outfit from Korean brand SHESMISS. The white blazer paired with a long slimming lace dress is a perfect outfit for work. However, for work I would definitely wear a pair of heels to keep my toes from revealing. Once you are off work you can leave the office in style and kick on some heels like the image below. I would definitely encourage everyone to invest in a lace dress as it is so versatile and elegant. Perfect for any occasion!

To find a lace dress or other beautiful dresses you can try going to Ever New a new Australian clothing store in Richmond Centre and Pacific Centre in Vancouver.

XOXO,
Ivy

Dressing up for Work

Hi Everyone,

I love dressing up when I go out on the weekend, but Monday to Thursday I would love to be able to lounge around in my comfy pajamas. If you feel the same way as me and have little motivation to dress up for work, I hope this entry can help you out.

Monday: Keep things easy yet professional with a well structured blazer
(Ali Express)

Tuesday: Keep things comfy yet chic with a bold coloured cardigan
(Banana Republic)

Wednesday: Keep things fast yet elegant with a slimming pencil skirt
(Rakuten Global Market)

Thursday: Keep things simple yet sophisticated with a printed scarf over a crisp white dress shirt.
(Michael Kors)

Friday is the day I look forward to most, so I like to dress up for the office in preparation for a night out. I will share about that in my next blog entry.

Cozy Winter Coats

Hi Everyone,

Ready to say goodbye to winter? I'm not ready and here's why... I love fashion during the winter because you get to layer your clothes, wear scarves and cozy up in long jackets!

Everyone should invest in fashionable winter coats. It's an item that can help you stay warm and chic during the harsh conditions of the wintertime.

In this entry I want to share with you a few inspiration looks that I discovered while watching a short TV movie called A Time of Love starring Linda Chung. Instead of choosing the usual black winter coat, try investing in pastel colours like light blue or pink. The warm colour tones can help brighten up any gloomy winter day.

Here is Linda wearing light blue keeping it simple with a white turtleneck

Here is Linda in pink notice she adds a pop of red to spice things up

Hope to Write Again Soon,
Ivy

2014

It has been so long since I have written in my blog.I hope to start it up again and document all the things that inspire me as I experience and live life day by day. 2014 will be a new year with more adventures, so I hope you will follow me as I spend more time writing. Fashion (practical, chic fashion) is not the only inspiration in my life. I will also start documenting other adventures whether it be found in food or travel, so stay tuned! Love, Ivy
