Rain Boots

Vancouver unfortunately rains alot! So rainboots are a pretty easy way to stay fashionable and dry!

I scored a very affordable pair of black rainboots the other day at Costco.

They are by Wetskins and it costed me only $16.99CDN...great deal!



Rainboots have been quite in trend: Hunter Boots and Burberry boots have been spotted all over the radar.

Rompers are extremely popular this summer.

If you are feeling slightly self-conscious about showing too much skin....That's alright try pairing the romper with a jacket ;)

I really like this romper from Costa Blanca. The colour is great for summer and its an outfit that would look awesome with a pair of gold sandals ;)

I've been watching this Japanese drama called Moon Lovers lately,

I really like the fashion sense of one of the female leads.

Her style is very casual, free and alittle tom boyish...

True Blue

I have been writing about colours like White and Nude because knowing the right colour to wear that can complement your skin tone is very important to looking great ;)

For example, people with dark skin tend to look best in black, brown, grey and dark blue. People with light skin, look good in pastel colours like pinks and yellows ;)

This summer all shades of blue seem to be very popular. Check out some of the outfits H&M have put together!!

White

I think white is just fabulous...its clean, fresh,and elegant all in one.....
White has become my go to colour whenever I don't know what colour to wear! It allows one to play with other extreme colours without being too flashy. Like the picture below, the white pants are a great complement for the orange heels and green accessories!!



Invest in a good pair of white pants...they come in just as handy as a pair of black pants especially for the summertime ;) I love wearing white pants with gray tops like the model below!

Leather Vests

I really like the leather vest....another piece that is just so effortlessly trendy! Wear it like the model from zipia.net with a white tee underneath and a pair of jeans!

The Trench

I find trench coats just never go out of style. The two models are wearing from Longchamp!

Stripes

Stripes are still going strong this spring! I especially like the thin stripes~! Makes one look lighter ;)

Floral Prints

This look from Lauren Conrad is just so pretty. It makes use of floral prints, a trend that has been very popular amongst girls this spring. Usually, I stay away from floral prints, but paring it with a dark solid coloured-top makes it very chic!

The outfit here is just so easy to put together...all you need is a floral print skirt...which you can find at Mariposa, Forever 21, Stitches ;)

Nude

Nude is definitely a colour that I wear all the time! Its also one of the colours in trend for spring 2010. Its very bare, chic and minimal! Below are a few looks that I love. They definitely play along with basics that girls often wear ;)

FYI: I think nude goes really well with black ;)
