Tulle Skirts

Hi everyone,

It's been a long long time since my last blog!  This week I was inspired to write, so I hope you like this entry :)

This past weekend I went to watch the movie Cinderella and I quickly fell in love with the costume design of each character especially Lily James who plays Cinderella. This movie definitely has inspired me to incorporate more elegant and fairytale pieces into my wardrobe. When I think of fairytales I'm drawn to the idea of tulle skirts.

Tulle is a lightweight fabric ideal for special occasions like bridal showers and weddings as well as special date nights. Here is a look  that I have come across that has been beautifully styled by Lauren Conrad.

For colder weather, the tulle skirt also works well with turtle necks!

Friday (Day to Night Inspiration Look)

Hi Everyone,

The weekend is coming soon and I recall promising to write about an inspirational look for Friday that is professional for work and can transition to a night out :)

Jun Ji Hyun (You Who Came From The Star) looks stunning in this outfit from Korean brand SHESMISS. The white blazer paired with a long slimming lace dress is a perfect outfit for work. However, for work I would definitely wear a pair of heels to keep my toes from revealing. Once you are off work you can leave the office in style and kick on some heels like the image below. I would definitely encourage everyone to invest in a lace dress as it is so versatile and elegant. Perfect for any occasion!

Dressing up for Work

Hi Everyone,

Cozy Winter Coats

Hi Everyone,

Ready to say goodbye to winter? I'm not ready and here's why... I love fashion during the winter because you get to layer your clothes, wear scarves and cozy up in long jackets! 

Everyone should invest in fashionable winter coats. It's an item that can help you stay warm and chic during the harsh conditions of the wintertime.

In this entry I want to share with you a few inspiration looks that I discovered while watching a short TV movie called A Time of Love starring Linda Chung. Instead of choosing the usual black winter coat, try investing in pastel colours like light blue or pink. The warm colour tones can help brighten up any gloomy winter day.

It has been so long since I have written in my blog.I hope to start it up again and document all the things that inspire me as I experience and live life day by day. 2014 will be a new year with more adventures, so I hope you will follow me as I spend more time writing.
